Setting up In-Service Training for teachers

Successful in-service training for your teachers provides opportunities for development for all staff and better quality for your clients. This module will equip you with strategies to define your staff�s training needs and show you how to make in-service training part of the life of your organisation.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this module you will:

Have an understanding of the relationship between the organisational vision and the training needs of the organisation [the strategic and the operational]
Have discussed the relationship between organisational training needs and individual needs
Have explored the different expectations of training provision by management and by staff members
Have conducted a �resource audit� to determine what resources are available organisationally
Have discussed different types of training provision
Have looked at why and how to evaluate the training provided

Cost:	£220 per module Fees are not transferable or refundable Please note we cannot guarantee all modules will run
Start dates:	1 September 2008 NB: March 3rd module includes a 2 week study break

Please note that course participants will need to be able to dedicate 4 - 5 hours to work on the Pre-module Orientation Course before the actual training module starts. Please note that we cannot guarantee that all modules will run. Module fees are not refundable or transferable.

All applications and payments must be finalized at least a week before the module start dates. Applications which come in less than a week before will be deferred to the next available intake date for the module.
