For many academic managers, observing teachers and giving feedback on their teaching is a difficult process. This module gives you practical help and a set of strategies to manage observation and feedback successfully in your workplace.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this module you will:

Have considered and defined the role of observation in your workplace
Have arrived at a definition of what constitutes effective teaching in your context
Have discussed different types of observation and the appropriacy of the different types
Have a checklist of the processes of observation � before, during and after
Have explored different ways of giving oral feedback to your teachers
Have explored different ways of giving written feedback to your teachers
Have considered how observation fits in to the life of your organisation

Please note that course participants will need to be able to dedicate 4 - 5 hours to work on the Pre-module Orientation Course before the actual training module starts. Please note that we cannot guarantee that all modules will run. Module fees are not refundable or transferable.
